Fingerprinting

  • You get the same results but with different methods. Live-scan means that your fingerprints will be scanned with a small machine and uploaded to a computer that will then scan them onto a fd-258 card. With ink, your prints will be rolled onto ink, then rolled onto a fd-258 card. At the end, with either method, you will be receiving a physical copy of a fd258 card.

  • If you are getting fingerprinted for something IN Washington state, then you may get fingerprinted using the live-scan method.

  • If you are in Washington State getting fingerprinted for another state, then it is recommended that you do ink fingerprinting. Most states won’t allow you to get live scan if you are not in their state. It is always good to double-check.

  • No. Your employer most likely emailed you, or you received paperwork with detailed instructions on where to go. The office you will need to go to is identogo. Please double-check before making an appointment with us or coming to our office.

  • No. We only fingerprint and hand you the fingerprint card.
